The eight Limbs of yoga
Written in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, an ancient foundational text of yoga philosophy, the eight limbs of yoga represent logical steps that lead to the attainment of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual awareness and health. They are principles that serve as a compass for cultivating a life with meaning and purpose.

The postures practiced in yoga.
Mastery over breath control.
Withdrawal of the senses and external stimuli to direct attention internally.
